About Us

TCS Computer Services Limited is based in Bexley, Kent and have been an independent computer services company since 1968 providing bespoke software development in Windows, Unix and Mainframe environments.  This page gives details about us, our history, current focus and future plans.

Since 1990, we have been a specialist software house in divisional/departmental systems and a solutions provider for Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.

Our Business

We have focused on the development, implementation and support of custom-built systems, of which MIS systems have always been a significant part. We undertake system integration and additional development in the Windows, NT and .NET environments enriching the basic MIS & BI facilities of proprietary packages already installed by our clients.

TCS develop departmental systems using the Microsoft family of products, including Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft Office, Analysis Services, SharePoint, Business Scorecard Manager and PerformancePoint Server. We also utilise the best of breed BI tools from other suppliers to tailor low cost, pragmatic MIS, Data Mart/Warehouse, OLAP and Corporate Intranet solutions for more enhanced and flexible reporting on data extracted from a wide range of application databases.

Our Staff

All our technical staff are at least 2.1 BSc. degree educated with many having 1st class Science degrees and Masters degrees. We continue our commitment to maintaining high standards by offering and funding all our staff 1 day a week to train in work-related subjects such as the Microsoft Certified Professional exams; some of whom are now qualified to MCSA level.

Future Plans

TCS are currently in a strong position for organic growth and have a wealth of dedicated technical resources.  Our plan has been to establish a stable platform for growth through the expansion of our support services and with this success we will continue to expand our portfolio of products, user base and volume of software and website development.
