Corporate Social Responsibility

South London Storm Rugby League

TCS is building a Corporate Social Responsibility policy and as part of that policy we recognise the importance and value of assessing the economic, social and environmental impact our business has upon our local and wider community.

Minimising our Environmental Impact

To ensure that we conduct ourselves responsibly we maintain a policy of sustainable business development and look at how we consume resources by assessing our energy use, transportation and waste.

Where possible, we use low energy appliances and fittings and also have a policy of shutting down all our workstations and printers over night so as to reduce our energy consumption.

Supporting our Local Community

We also believe in helping our local community.

In Sport

As such TCS are proud to be sponsors of South London Storm; the Rugby League Conference & Community based sports club.  The club, with the assistance of tireless volunteers and parents has one of the largest youth development programs of any club in any sport in the UK.

South London prides itself on offering a formula of creating strong, efficient and sustainable links between the club, schools, other educational establishments and local government that work together to help young people from a variety of backgrounds achieve their sporting ambitions.

South London Storm have been operating primary and secondary schools programmes in Croydon and Lambeth for several years in the form of both curriculum and after school coaching.  They now operate in Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth, Southwark and Bromley.

TCS help by contributing financially and provide chairmanship, sponsorship and consultative services to the club's board of administrators, through our Commercial Director, Graham Armstrong.

For more information about South London Storm's youth programmes, visit the Youth Development section of their website.
